We'd like to introduce you to Ash, a wonderful little girl who came to us several weeks back.

Ash had spent many months living on the streets and fending for herself until someone found her and called Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue in to help.

Her condition was terrible, thin with a tummy so full we actually thought she was heavily pregnant with a large litter of kittens and due to drop any minute!!!

It turned out however to be a massive worm infestation. Yes, worms. This has all been treated along with her little flea friends and she has put on weight to now be a very healthy looking little girl.

Her coat is as soft as silk and her wide yellow-y green eyes will make your heart melt for this little lady wants nothing more than a lovely warm lap to curl up in for lots and lots of cuddles and affection. A quick look and a smile and she is purring in anticipation of cuddle or chin rub and she does not ask for much in return for this love and affection.

Ash is a fairly quiet, content little soul who is happy with her own space but loves cuddle time. She is a very laid back character and whilst not a fan of toys and playtime loves to interact with humans and will often follow you around to 'oversee'. Ash is also one of the very few ginger female cats we come across.

Ash would make a perfect companion cat either for a person living on their own or a couple. Ash may also be suited to a quiet family home with older children.

Whilst Ash has come from living on the streets to rescue we do feel that Ash will be equally as happy in an indoor home as well as an indoor / outdoor home given the right stimulus and attention.

We are thrilled that Ash has found her new forever home where she is slowly settling into family life and beginning to show her character. Good luck in your new home Ash, you so deserve it!
