I found home...
Barney
9 month old, male, ginger cat
Original Homing Text:
Isn't that a little face of butter won't melt??! Well don't be too fooled as our little Barney can be quite a cheeky little character. An adorable ginger cat he has wonderful, bright amber eyes to match with a very cheeky little glint that is always looking for the fun in any circumstance!
Barney is a very loveable little cat but he does require a lot of play, attention and stimulation to keep him occupied. Ideally Barney really needs an indoor / outdoor home well away from any busy roads so that he can get out and about to run off some of his excess energy.
Like a typical little boy Barney is a cat that is food driven and never far away when its near his dinner time. He came to live with us for a while at Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue after his previous owners moved away and left him behind at only 5 months of age.
Barney would not be suitable for a home with young children as he can be a little boistrous so an adult home or home with older (teenage) children would be more suitable. Ideally someone who has experience of cats would also be an advantage but not essential as guidance is always given by staff at Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue on adoption of any cat / kitten.
A typical ginger boy he is sure to keep any new slaves on their toes with his cheeky mischevious nature and keep you laughing every day. He has such a big loving nature and loves cuddles and petts and will be your best friend in return for food, fun and a safe place to stay.
Barney is neutered and will be up to date with all wormer, frontline and vaccinations on leaving Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue.
Thank you for reading Barney's profile.
Please note there is a set donation of £50 on the adoption of any cat or kitten from Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue.
Update 31/12/2009: We are very happy to be able to report that Barney is settling in very well. He has already been out to explore in the snow and is having great fun and spoilt rotten. Barney went to his new home with his little playmate Gizmo and we know they will be very very happy!
