Looking for HomeCassie
Cassie is a 9yr old female tortoiseshell cat.Cassie is the most affectionate, loving little girl who came to us in a bid to save her from being euthanised by her owners who felt she was being bullied by other cats at home. When Cassie first came to live with us in foster care she was very thin and nervous, so much so, she was scared to even eat. Yet, despite this, her affectionate and loving nature would still come through. The moment you called her name she came running out to see you with lots of cuddles. With love and time she has found there is no need to be scared any more and has even decided that tinned cat food can be tasty! We feel that Cassie would be suited to a quiet home with no young children. Cassie would make the perfect companion cat for someone with lots of time to spend at home as she just loves human company and lots of cuddles, perhaps a retired couple or someone who works from home. Cassie is fine with other cats but we feel either a non cat household or a home with older, quieter cats or a small dog may be more suited to Cassie to allow her more of the human company she craves. In a perfect scenario we would love to find Cassie a home in a country area where Cassie could venture outdoors for a little while with her new family. If you are looking for a companion cat then we would urge you to consider Cassie regardless of her age. She is a spritely, healthy cat who looks nearer 3/4 years old than her 9 years we are told! Update: 06/08/08 Cassie remains in foster care at the current time. We are working to resolve her stress issues but would welcome someone with time, patience and understanding to come forward with a view to offering Cassie a permanent home.
