Homing Policy Over the Festive SeasonPlease be aware that it is Sunny Harbour Cat & Kitten Rescue's policy to not home kittens during the festive season. Homing of cats and kittens from December to January will be at our discretion. Cats are not toys or gifts and should not be considered as such for Xmas presents. We urge you to please please do not promise the children a kitten for xmas and instead consider the welfare of the cats and kittens. Xmas is a very busy time for families with lots of noise, new toys and visitors. This 'fun' time of year is great for families but not so for young kittens and cats who, in a strange home with strange people often become overwhelmed and very very stressed making the transition very traumatic. Please take our advice and leave the addition of a new feline family member until the New Year when lives have returned to their normal, less disruptive routine and you can truly enjoy the addition of your new feline family member.

Sunny Harbour Cat & Kitten Rescue have a number of kittens that come into our care at various stages throughout the year. Many kittens come to us weak or lacking proper medical care and will be nursed and given the appropriate treatment prior to being considered available for adoption.
