Marco
 8/9 month old black and white male cat
We are very happy to be able to finally introduce you all to one very special little boy, who having gone through a horrific ordeal has proven himself stronger than his abusers and full of love and affection with the gentlest of natures.
This little boy is known at Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue as Marco. Marco came to us a few weeks ago in a terrible condition. Badly bruised internally and externally, shaking with fear and screaming in pain if you touched his ribs, back or tail.
 Yet despite the obvious beatings this poorly wee lad had taken before he arrived he has bounced back stronger than ever following veterinary care from the Sunny Harbour vets and his wonderful, loving personality just shines through.
We are still working on his confidence however it grows by the day and we are slowly but surely teaching him that toys can be fun. He is slowly getting the hang of interative toys however he still struggles to understand independent play, but baby steps are huge milestones with cats like Marco.
He is happy to be picked up for a while and enjoys his cuddles. He loves to have his chin and ears rubbed and will happily snuggle into the crook of your arm with his gentle little yellow-y green eyes softening as he enjoys the attention. (can you tell Marco has fast become a favourite?)
 Marco has SO much potential and has come on in leaps and bounds in the short few weeks he has been with us at Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue however he does still have lots to learn and confidence to grow which will come with time in the right home.
We are seeking an INDOOR ONLY home for Marco with pawrents who will help him build confidence and continue his life lessons. Experience with cats isn't essential as fully guidance will be given by Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue on how best to help Marco to blossom into a happy, balanced cat through play, routine and gentle discipline.
We are seeking a home with NO other cats, dogs or children under 12 years of age as we feel this is very important to Marco's ability to grow his confidence over the next few months.
Anyone who meets this amazing, handsome little boy can't help but be captivated by his gentle eyes and loving gaze in thanks for a chin rub. Marco has become a firm favourite at Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue and we are sure if you give him just a few moments of your time you too will be smitten!
 Marco has been neutered and will be up to date with wormers, frontline and have had at least his first vaccination on leaving Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue.
