I found home...
Molly
1.5 year old black female cat
Molly is a very cheeky young lady who has lived her first year in life in what we can only describe as hell. When Molly came to Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue she was borderline emaciated and been the only saving grace for her 2 kittens.
No water, litter trays, food on occasion and living in waste this gorgeous wee cat has been through the mill and truly deserves the best in life.
Molly was immediately put on small regular meals, wormed and de'flead and given a lovely cosy bed to rest.
After 3 days sleep and food her loving cheeky nature shone through and we know she will make someone a truly wonderful companion.
She was good as gold despite being stressed at heading to the vet for her checkup and neutering and has sailed through the entire thing and even managed to leave some of her stitches in tact.
She loves company and petts now that she knows she can have them regularly and is never shy in telling you when she wants you to pay her attention.
We would like an indoor/outdoor home for molly well away from busy roads or with a fully cat proofed garden. Molly is a cat that would need to be the only cat at home and we do not know how she is with dogs.
We feel that Molly would note be suited to a home with young toddlers however she would be fine with older children / teenagers.
Molly is a very chatty wee soul and will happily tell you all about her day not to mention knowing feeding times better than you!
I apologise for the lack of good photography but lets just say that Molly doesn't stand still for more than 2 seconds when out of her pen making it even harder to photograph a black cat!!
Update 10/04/2011: We are delighted to report that Molly is slowly but surely settling into her new home. Good luck little girl you SO deserve this chance at a new life!

Black Cat Myths
Black cats are often overlooked in the rescue for cats with brighter colours regardless of their personality. Yet, black cats will offer you as much love and affection as any of these other 'prettier' coloured cats.
Please do not disregard a cat solely on its colour and if you are supersticious, remember that in the UK black cats will bring good luck to you and your home!
We came across a very interesting article discussing black cats and their place in history and the many superstitions. Please do read by clicking here. This will take you to a 3rd party site.
