Sapphire a gorgeous wee girl looking for love Sapphire came to Sunny Harbour recently after her owners were no longer able to care for her or her friend Amber. Whilst she arrived with her friend Amber we are not looking to rehome them together.

Sapphire is the more timid of the duo and can be very shy on first meeting. That said, given the chance at a cuddle and a head rub and she is simply putty in your hands and loves attention and affection.

Sapphire is a cross Persian, Mainecoon and does have a heavy thick coat and a lot of grooming is going to be required to maintain her coat. Therefore please carefully consider this prior to applications to adopt Sapphire.

Ideally people with experience of Persians or similar breeds would be an advantage however we are willing to instruct new owners in the grooming requirements of your new cat but this will require dedication and DAILY GROOMING.

Sapphire a little persian cat looking for love. Could you love her? At the moment Sapphire does have a large bald area on her underbelly, legs and back end due to having to be shaved on arrival. This will grow back over the next few weeks.

An indoor home may be more suited to Sapphire as she is not a cat eager for the outdoors much prefering her home comforts and a friend to quietly cuddle into.

Update 27/02/09: Sapphire has now found her forever home and will be leaving us shortly with her sister Amber.

Update 06/03/09: We are thrilled to report that Sapphire has left Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue with her sister Amber. They will be living together with a new brother Alfie and we are very sure they will be extremely happy in their new home. We currently await the first of many updates. (we hope)
