I found home...
Smudge
3 - 5 yr old Dark Tortie Female
Original Adoption Profile read:
As we seem to have a tortie take over bid here at the harbour I would like to introduce you all to Smudge; yes, a dark tortie / brindle tortie female cat.
We estimate her age to be 3-5 years of age and she came to Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue after being found wandering the streets with a badly embedded collar which had left her with a gaping wound at the top of one of her legs.
This has now healed completely and our wee Smudge has now found herself seeking a new home as no-one has ever come forward to claim this wee girl.
As we all know tortoishell cats have a reputation of being either aloof or very friendly and I'm happy to say that Smudge is of the friendly variety. A sweet loving girl she is a little unsettled by all the other cats here but is coping brilliantly well and tends just to ignore them.
Her coat is a lovely dark swirling black, brown and fawn and she has the gentlest of natures. She loves to play with her feather stick and loves catnip toys - especially her catnip banana!
We are looking for an indoor / outdoor home for Smudge well away from busy roads. She loves her cuddles, lap time (as seen in the picture below) and petts but equally enjoys her own time making a perfect companion cat for some lucky home.

Smudge would be better as an only cat or certainly the 1st cat in the home as she is better with youngsters. Older children of 10yrs + would be more suited to Smudge rather than a home with young toddlers. We do not know how Smudge is with dogs.
Her favourite spots are by the window on a cosy bed or up high where she can survey her kingdom!
Update June 2011: We are delighted to report that Smudge has now found her wonderful new adoptive home where she is very happy, pampered and once again enjoying life to the full. Well done Smudgey Girl.. xx
Please note that there is a set donation to Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue of £60 on the adoption of each cat or kitten from our care to help towards the cost of caring for all our residents.
