I founf home...
Willow
4 year old, female, black and white cat
Willow came to Sunny Harbour in June 2011 after being advertised for free and pregnant on a free ads site. We immediately intercepted and brought Willow to safety before she could end up somewhere too horrific to consider.
On arrival she was around six weeks pregnant, exceptionally thin, tiny with stunted growth and filthy yet with the sweetest most loving nature and gorgeous green eyes that just screamed Help Me!
She was SO exhausted and run down we weren’t even sure she would make it through the delivery however with lots of help, good nutrition and reassurance she made it through but her exhausted little body was just not up to the job of rearing her 4 little ones and so we had to take this over so that she could rest and regain her strength. At 4 years old based on her condition and general assessement it is very likely this poor wee girl has been churning out kittens since she was barely a baby herself and as a result she is only the size of approximately a 7 to 9 mth old kitten herself.
Willow is an amazing little cat who has shown such strength and determination and whilst not ready to leave Sunny Harbour quite yet we would like to begin the search for a very special home for this very special little lady.
Willow is still regaining her strength and when strong enough will be neutered, vaccinated and a thorough physical exam.
We will be seeking a quiet home for this amazing little lady and are open to indoor or indoor / outdoor homes for her.
We would prefer to rehome her as an only cat initially with no young children to a home where she can learn to experience how life is supposed to be in a home where she is loved and cherished.
This little black and white cat has been through SO much already in her short little life and we will be considering all applications for her very carefully to ensure the best possible match for her and her owner(s).
Thank you for visiting Willow's profile. She has now left Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue and is settling in well into her new home.
Please note that there is a set donation to Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue of £60 on the adoption of each cat or kitten from our care to help towards the cost of caring for all our residents.
