New Arrivals...We always have new cats arriving at Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue and they must receive their routine care, assessment, vet check and medication prior to being put forward for adoption. Some of these cats may also require several weeks of veterinary care and any help you can provide to help us meet these costs and make the difference to these sick and injured cats will be very much appreciated. More details on donating to the cats can be found here. Cats currently in the care of Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue are: KittensWe do have a few kittens looking for homes. Kittens will always be rehomed in pairs where there is no existing cat in the home. For more details and information regarding requirements for adopting kittens please see our FAQ and our kitten page here. We also have a number of kittens / young cats aged approx 7-12 months of age who have come from traumatic backgrounds. We are now seeking experienced indoor only homes for these little boys and girls in pairs and with no children under the age of 12. Each of these pairs have very different characters and each application for adoption is assessed taking these into consideration. Tansy & PoppyThese beautfil Blue / Cream girls have found their way to Sunny Harbour Cat Rescue and are now seeking their new forever home. 2 very gorgeous, very affectionate 8 year old girls they are loooking for a quiet, adult only home or a home with older children. She is currently undergoing care and assessment and once healthy will be put forward for adoption. We expect it to be approximately another 4 - 6 weeks at least before she will be in a position to move on but welcome enquiries about this gorgeous 5 year old tortie girl in the meantime. Both girls are gorgeous, loving and just looking for cuddles and a new home where you will receive in reward the amazing purrs of Smudge and head bumps from Cheekie. BobbyA big gentle giant who loves his food is how I would describe Bobby. He is a real sook of a cat who just loves people and is looking for his purrfect family. You can read more about Bobby here. Bruno has been amazing and despite the odds pulled through to be a very happy, loving boy. His story can be found here. SpinxSpinx came to Sunny Harbour as a found cat who we have tried to find her owners. A small, black female she is awaiting her vet health check and then will go forward for adoption. MackMack is a lost soul at the moment. We believe his owners moved away and left him behind and since coming into Sunny Harbour he needs a lot of help to recover from his time on the streets. He is an amazing, very friendly and affectionate cat though his time on the streets has left him fearful. A gorgeous boy who just needs some 1 on 1 time away from all the other cats, if you could consider opening your heart to him then please get in touch. Muffin *** Reserved ***9 month old tabby girl awaiting neutering who was dumped from a passing car. FloydFloyd is a puzzle. Sweet wee boy who isn't a fan of being messed about and he certainly kept us on our toes at his veterinary health check. He is currently undergoing rest and good care and nutrtion to see how he improves after starving to a skeleton on the streets.
